Man at Arms
Veterans at the wall reflect and remember their missing and fallen comrades while two soldiers in the jungles of Southeast Asia long to be home with their loved ones. A connection is made between men and an unspoken understanding of the experience of war that only those who have experienced it can relate to is portrayed.
In the present day scene the rumble of bikes in the distance grows louder and flags fly proudly as veterans ride at the memorial in tribute to the many that did not return.
The concept of the wall as a transparent window into these two worlds is the theme for "Man at Arms" and is a poignant reminder of the sacrifices that our veterans made.
